A Commanded Blessing
And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room...These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. Acts 1:8
God has called everyone to prayer. It's not just for some, but for all to submit themselves to God in prayer to pray for all men. Not only does God want us to pray; He wants us to come in one accord, a united force and become one as He and Jesus are. When we come together in communion (common unity) with the Holy Spirit and one another in prayer, a commanded blessing will come.
In Acts 2nd chapter, as the apostles came into thee upper room, they came on purpose with intention, which was to come on one accord so they could be endowed with the Holy Spirit Jesus promised was needed in order for them to go in His power and strength, telling all about Him. As they came together on one accord in unity, God's blessing fell on them. God's spirit came in like mighty rushing wind, baptizing them with tongues of fire.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. If He did it for the disciples, He will do it for us today. Get in agreement with the Holy Spirit, receive His anointing, soak in His anointing, be refreshed in His anointing. As you listen and hear what God is saying, go forth with all boldness declaring the word and works of the Lord. Laying hands on the sick, setting the captives free, baptizing men in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, winning souls for the Kingdom of God and watch the blessings of God manifest in your life.
